scene.
A temporary spatial practice in which tactility, experience, and ritual take center stage.
Through installations and interventions, emotions and stories are made tangible. Scenography explores how space can evoke a dramaturgy of presence, memory and interaction
It is a laboratory of perception, where moments, objects and movements intertwine to create atmospheres that linger.
Boudry, a Family of Artists traces creativity across generations. In the chapel’s richly adorned space, transparent glass voiles bring calm and focus: the architecture remains present, while the artworks take center stage.
These voiles carry deep meaning. They mirror the family’s introspective nature - quiet, reserved, yet generous when at ease - and their transparency speaks to this subtle openness.
The works, once cherished in private homes, now hang in front of these voiles, creating a delicate dialogue between family, community, and space. Together, they evoke a modern salon atmosphere, honoring Paul, Jules, and Nele Boudry.

Inspired by BOU.TS first appeals to emotion.
Within the chapel, a composed and deliberate context emerges - sensitive, measured - where past and present perspectives meet. What follows is a quiet dialogue: an inspired conversation that, beyond trends, reflects on our humanity and unfolds in the warm glow of tempered light.
The white of the walls transforms the historic chapel into a contemporary white cube, drawing attention to the works and music while momentarily releasing them from their charged setting. The delicate paper that lines the surfaces adds subtle layers, echoing the nuances found in Bouts’ own art and resonating with the interpretations of Nele Boudry and Stijn Kuppens. Together, they form an interplay across centuries and disciplines - between image and sound, past and present, what sets us apart and what binds us.
